Today we had a busy day! Tuesdays are the busiest day of the week for our family. Amber has preschool in the morning. I pick up Amber and her friend Isabel at preschool and then take Isabel to our house to play and have lunch with Amber. In the afternoon Allison has ballet/tap class. My friend Marylyn picks up Allison to take her and her daughter Annika to ballet. I drive Haley and Amber have their ballet/tap class directly following Allison's class. After we get home from ballet I have youth night at church. I get home between 8:40 and 9PM.
Tonight when I got home Haley was still awake playing WebKinz. She got some Webkinz for Christmas and she love to take care of them online. Amber really likes to watch Haley take care of the pets. Anyway, I didn't get home until after 9pm tonight. I had Haley get ready for bed. As soon as I put her to bed I heard this LOUD "explosion like" sound. Then I looked out the window to see what it was. I saw ALL of my neighbors coming out their houses to the street. I looked down the street and saw a SUV on fire. No one was in the vehicle from what I could tell. Not sure how the fire started. Haley and I went outside to see the fire. The car made a few more booming sounds and the fire truck arrived on the scene pretty quickly. I am VERY grateful that the car wasn't closer to our house. I think we are watched over more than we know. When we pray to be protected and safe our prayers are answered. We need to take the time to thank Heavenly Father for our safety and protection. We receive so many blessings daily. I find it hard to notice the many things we are blessed with.
