Labor Day Weekend - Saltwater State Park

Dave had the day off today so we decided to go to Salt Water State Park. It was a bit chilly but the kids didn't seem to mind. They loved tromping through the water and sand. They founds some tiny crabs. Amber and Haley loved holding them and trying to keep them from getting away by putting them in shells. Dave was trying to teach Allison how to skip rocks in the water. She loved throwing rocks!
After the park, we went down the road to Salty's. I really was in the mood for chowder that morning. So, we went to Salty's Seafood Bar. We ate outside and the kids really enjoyed their fish and chowder. I wasn't too impressed with the cole slaw but the fish and chowder were excellent! After our meal we went on the boardwalk and ran into The Relph family from our ward. Small world huh?
