Amber and Natalie
Natalie, a friend, Haley and Jenna in the race!
I LOVE this picture of Katrina!

Tonight our family attended Relay for Life in Auburn. We also attended last year too. It is always a very emotional event. It amazes me how many people attend and are battling cancer and the support they have. You walk around the track at Auburn Memorial Stadium across from the Auburn High School. They ask the survivors to walk a lap around the track. Following the survivor lap the caregivers walk a lap. It is pretty powerful to watch the survivors and the caregivers walk and think about the many difficulties they face each day.
Amber had a fun time with Natalie running around the track. Haley and Allison had a great time playing with Tayla, Jenna, Kate, and Katrina. We brought our double stroller and so the kids took turns riding in that.
I must say it was so different with our Mara there this year. It was really hard thinking about last year and how she was being carried by some of the teachers at AJ and surrounded by her family and friends. I can picture her smile and her adorable face.
I am grateful for the Adams family and their incredible example! I am thankful that they post regularly on their blog. They are an amazing family. We are lucky to have them in our life!
We will always be on Mara's Team!
