AJ Bookfair

Tonight was the AJ book fair. Let's just say I was so impressed and so were the girls! It was very organized and there were generous prizes. When you arrived you received a ticket for a free used book, a chance to win a gift certificate, and a coupon for a treat. All three girls got tow pieces of red licorice, a cookie and a drink. They had their treat while listening to a story read by some of the teachers at the school. Mrs. Nelson is an excellent reader! Amber won a $5 gift certificate for the book fair. She got to choose her own book and couldn't have been more excited about that.

Earlier today I was able to work at the book fair. It was actually REALLY fun! I helped the kids figure out if they had enough money to buy the books while they stood in line to check out. My friend watched my girls so I could work the book fair. We had a pretty fun day!
