Last day in Vancouver

Today was the last day of our Vancouver trip. Haley really didn't want to go home. I went to my sister-in-law's baby shower at her house. She is having her second and it will be a boy. She is due the first part of February. My favorite part about the baby shower was before Dotty opened her gift the person giving her the gift gave her advice. It was almost emotional. Some of the people really put a lot of effort into giving her good advice. My advice to her was to be sure to have Morgan and Mommy time AND Dotty and Monte time! This is hard to do when you are having your second child. Each time a baby comes, there is an adjustment period where you have to get into a routine. I think the most difficult thing about a newborn is not getting a full-nights sleep. It is pretty hard to function and feel good without the right amount of sleep!

Next weekend we will return to Vancouver for cousin Morgan's birthday party! The girls are SO excited for Morgan's party on Saturday! Morgan is their ONLY cousin and she will be turning three.
