Allison at the finish lineDave completed the STP on Saturday. It was a 202 mile bike ride from Seattle to Portland. We were at the finish line a few hours early! We didn't want to miss him coming in. He got a flat tire but fortunately didn't get in a bike accident. He started about 5:30am and got in a little after 6pm on Saturday. He rode with our neighbor Alan Smith. Dave's sister, Dotty from Vancouver came to see him at the finish line. Dave's Dad met him along to way to surprise him with ice cold chocolate milk and other treats. He was very impressed by that.
