We chose to celebrate Dave's birthday with a picnic dinner at Game Farm Park in Auburn. Dave's parents brought KFC chicken for us. I don't think that Allison has ever had a drumstick in her life but, she loved it! The girls weren't sure what to do with the skin on the chicken! Dave LOVES slurpees! So, I went and got some! It was such a HOT day!
Dave requested angel food cake with strawberries and cool whip. It was perfect for such a hot day! The girls each bought a present for him. He got bubbles, a water growing animal, and the growing animal capsules. His parents got him a gift certificate for a massage, shot gun bullets, and his Mom made him a scrapbook with pictures from the Issaquah Tri and STP. My parents gave him a movie gift card.
