Today we braved the rainy weather and had a picnic at the ball fields in Kent. My kids call it the merry-go-round park. There are covered picnic tables at the park. So, we ate our lunch under cover and then the girls played on the play structures. Haley really didn't want to go out in the rain but eventually she decided that she wanted to play with the other girls.
There was a girl that was walking her horse around the parking lot. We decided that we would ask her to pet the horse. She let us pet him for quite a while. Right when we were petting the horse our friends came, Isabel and Alejandro. They came at just the right time! Allison enjoyed petting the horse until the horse sniffed her forehead. She got scared. Haley really liked petting the horse, they were instant friends!
