A NEW calling!

I feel like I have neglected my Blog for quite some time. I got a new church calling and it has been keeping me pretty busy! I was called as Young Women's President in my ward in April. I was pretty shocked! I was not expecting this calling to come my way. It has been a very humbling experience. I have been learning a lot in the last few weeks. Fortunately, I have the best counselors and advisors in the world! I also have a very supportive husband! I have more meetings to attend then my previous calling as 2nd counselor. Organizing, planning, and calendaring all takes time.

Last week the Young Men and Young Women did a service project for a Sister in our ward. We weeded her yard, mowed her lawn, planted some flowers, and took out a bush or two. I was so impressed with the youth. They are such hard workers and the sister was grateful for our efforts.
