FriendsLast night Jenna was able to spend the night. The girls had so much fun. We made popcorn in the air popper and Dave helped the girls make two different flavors of popcorn, nacho cheese, and ranch. They watched the Chipmunks movie while they ate their popcorn. They played Monopoly, Princess edition and stayed up way too late talking in the dark. Jenna requested the nightlight, just like last time.
This morning Allison was up bright and early and she woke up the others! We had a pancake breakfast and hot chocolate. Kate came over to play with Allison and they had cinnamon rolls and homemade bread for a snack. We painted Kate and Allison's fingers and toes. Kate was so patient and still.
Later that morning we went to the Auburn Veteran's Day parade. We happened to see Aunt Dotty and cousin Morgan parked in the Jiffy Lube parking lot as we were driving around looking for a place to park. We stopped by and then we all walked to the parade. I was pretty impressed. We didn't get there when the parade started and we left before the parade ended. There were over 200 entries in the parade. It was grateful for all of those that gave their life for our country. The girls were too thrilled about the loud motorcycles. They did, however, love the marching bands and cheerleaders! Jenna was really interested in the army attire. It was hard to take Jeanna and Kate home. We all had so much fun!
